David Collins is a singer and guitarist deeply rooted in English Traditional music, its history and the culture of the British Isles.

A storyteller at heart, David’s music is a mix of traditional ballads, his own, often very personal songs, and even some contemporary works too. All of this is underpinned by his guitar playing that has a gentle and nuanced approach, supporting the story and tradition of ballad singing.

A Semi-Finalist at the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Musician awards in 2011 David has played across the UK at clubs and festivals. This was followed by a break for several years due to deeply personal life events. David’s debut full album ‘Sundown’ marks his return to live music and performance: ‘Great Songs…really good music’. Grammy Award Winner Amrit Sond.
