We present Bunyan’s Oak on
February 24th

Unfortunately, Craig Joiner will not be able to be with us on February 24th due to viral laryngitis following a bout of Covid. We wish him all the best for a speedy recovery and will arrange another date as soon as he fit again.

Bunyan’s Oak have kindly agreed to step in for Craig at short notice.

They are three guys who love to sing and share a fondness for shanties, songs of the sea, work songs, and most of all, songs with good choruses.

John Eagling, Brian Mander and Martin Banks were all members of the now disbanded Redbornstoke Morris, famed not just for its Ampthill, Scouthall and Marston dance traditions, but also as a singing side it was always good to have around.

Now these three have come together to bring some of that repertoire, and other songs picked up along the way, to folk clubs and festivals.

It was great to have them give us a couple of songs at a singaround prior to the Covid lockdowns, and we are really looking forward to welcoming them back for a full gig and what will be a terrific night.
