Paul Fincken plays in a variety of styles, but by and large thinks of himself as a singer-songwriter. The songs he writes vary from the light-hearted and frivolous to the serious and poignant. They often have a slightly bluesy feel to them. His influences include Bob Dylan, Richard Thompson, Paul Simon and Steve Knightley.
Paul’s main instrument is the guitar, but he also plays ukulele and harmonica.
As well as playing gigs with various groups, he is a regular at local folk clubs, acoustic and open mic sessions and even written a song in which he attempts to explain his diverse musical tastes and interests. He has been both a finalist and a judge in the Watford Song Competititon.
Looking forward to seeing Paul again for what will be a great night.
